Gaylord Palms Resort & Convention Center

We only visited for the holiday events and didnt stay in a room. Meeting Santa was BY FAR the best, most organized Santa meet and greet Ive ever experienced. I loved being able to book a specific time window instead of waiting in line forever. Santa was great! The value of pictures was incredible!! The ONLY complaint I have is the price of parking. $40 for parking is absolutely INSANE! The parking lot is in shambles, under construction, and the spots are soooo small. We were only there for 2 hours. It seems pretty greedy to charge so much for so little.

Gorgeous. However the $100 swimsuit I brought was quickly bleached from the chlorine. I bought a new one from the resort store that was more expensive and that ended up getting a little bleached as well after only one night of use, despite washing it several times after. So that was very disappointing but otherwise gorgeous resort, love the gators, great for kids

First time staying there, went for the Christmas experiences. From the moment you arrive it's first class treatment. It is a big property, but everyone is so willing to help, that you never feel lost. Have to mention some of the staff who made our stay exceptional. First morning walking to buffet breakfast, not sure of the way in. Ruby was doing what she does in the atrium, took the time to walk us to the entrance, while talking to us along the way. Breakfast buffet is amazing, you name it they got it. Eggs any way you what, fresh pastries, waffles, the turkey sausage was outstanding. Our server was called Irish originally born in the Philippines. Whenever we ate at the restaurant we would ask for her. Her attention to the small things is what makes your stay memorable. Knowing that our daughter loves hot chocolate when you ask about what to drink. You can get good service, but it's not every day you get exceptional service from everyone you interact with. The restaurant manager wanted to always make sure everything was great. Christmas evening dinner the Executive Chef was walking through,he stopped to talk with us, making sure we were satisfied. If you have kids/grandkids you have to experience the holiday activities, atmosphere at Gaylord Palms, you will not be disappointed.

Gaylord Palms Orlando is absolutely beautiful with so much to do! There are tons of dining options, an amazing pool area, and endless activities for kids. We loved the giant lawn space for sports and running around. The water park is perfect for both big and little kids, and the FlowRider was a huge hit. If you want to level up your stay, the private cabanas are amazing—complete with a TV, safe, and a personal attendant. We love this resort and highly recommend it for families with kids!

This property is very nice and very clean. We were here in February and the pool was not crowded at all. The slides are fun and the kids had a blast! The lazy river is ice cold though. The WiFi is slow and could be a little faster.

Our experience as first timers at this resort was absolutely perfect! We arrived very late due to a car accident on our way to the resort and the resort employee we first spoke to on the phone to tell we would be late was so sweet. He went above and beyond for us making a stressful situation feel better for sure. Upon arrival the lobby is stunning, the front desk staff on duty again so sweet and extremely accommodating. We woke up and had the buffet breakfast, highly recommend!! It was delicious, everything you could want and so fresh. Staff super sweet again and accommodating! Our server told us everything about the resort in fine detail having worked there over 20 plus years he said. Then off to the resort pool. Our daughters had a wonderful time, the poolside drinks and food was excellent! The service was outstanding for how busy it was! Our room was extremely clean, spotless. Beds so comfortable. We can’t wait to stay at this resort again! Sad we only booked two nights, wish we stayed a week but I will definitely come back with our entire family for a longer stay!! Highly recommend the Gaylord Palms Resort!

This place is absolutely insane!! From the second we checked in the lady that helped us get our room was phenomenal and delivered exceptional hospitality, she went above and beyond to give us a great experience. I think her name was Maria (her name tag said she was from Queens, New York)? Anyways, she was amazing and deserves recognition! For how big and beautiful this place is, it is very well taken care of. Everything was super clean, beautiful. The design in every square inch is well thought out and intentional. Our kids had a blast whether they were at the water park or simply just walking around looking at all the amazing things! They loved that Gaylord even included snakes and alligators! Huge win for a family. The restaurants and stores were amazing as well! Great customer service everywhere, good design, and great food/drinks! We had never actually stayed at a Gaylord resort before but this stay has us won over. If we ever stay anywhere near one we will definitely choose Gaylord again and even pay up for it. Can’t recommend enough!

I’m here with my husband and 4 month old baby (he’s here for a convention) so I’m spending a lot of time alone. The waterfalls & jungle-esq vibes are beautiful & very entertaining for us. I’m writing this review because I’m sooo impressed with the room service. The food is amazing (I’ve had the salmon & power breakfast bowl, cocktails, dessert, etc) and the service is incredible. Every order comes to the room within 30 minutes, perfectly packaged & has everything you might need. I’ve often left a note for them to leave it outside the door when the baby is sleeping and they do so very quietly. There’s also a lot of fun things to do inside the resort (waterslides, reptiles, jungle exploring) I can’t wait to come back when my kids are older. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
